Vintage Retro Porcelain Yorkie Yorkshire Terrier Dog Planter Occupied Japan Cute

Here we have a very sweet vintage dog planter in the form of a little Yorkshire Terrier! Measuring roughly 7” long by 5” high, this Yorkie is primarily white with dark gray/black spots. This cute pup is modeled with his pink tongue hanging out. He has long silky fur and a fluffy tail, and wears a collar around his neck. His back is hollowed out to hold small bouquets or plants. He would look super cute as a planted with baby succulents—a trend that is very popular right now. The planter is marked MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN, dating it from 1945 to 1951. These small figural planters were very popular during the mid 20th century and have a great retro appeal today! In very good condition, there are no chips, cracks or crazing.
