Antique Large Schoenhut Handmade Wooden Doll. This antique doll is 19 inches tall and hand carved from wood sometime between 1911-1930. She is beautifully jointed with all 11 joints functional. She is pin jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips and knees. She can hold a pose all day. She has thick curly light brown human hair and painted blue eyes. She has multistroke brows, painted upper and lower lashes, and an open mouth with 4 teeth and tongue. Her previous owner indicated that her face has been retouched. She is virtually free of cracks or chips. She is wearing an ivory eyelet period dress with ribbon trim, white socks and shoes. She is marked SCHOENHUT on her back.. Condition is "Used".
