1940's Vintage Navy Wool Gabardine Suit Coat
It is a Naval Dress Coat Made by Jacob Reed's Sons Philadelphia
Double Breasted
Wide Lapels
Dated and Name in the Pocket
I assume the slit on the side and the Button on the inside is for Dress Sword?
Buttons signed Jacob Reed's Sons
No size tag, so Please go by measurements taken laid flat seam to seam
19" shoulder to shoulder
21" armpit to armpit
33" sleeves from middle of back
28 1/2" long in back
Excellent Vintage Condition. No spots on Coat. Flash spots from camera. The one Spot that was on the sleeve you may see in photo, was
just a Dust Smudge because it came out with damp cloth. Dry Cleaning Tag on inside
